Braskem Labs is a program developed by Braskem, which is a company of the chemichal and petrochemichal industries and is known globally as the biggest producer of thermoplastic resins in the Americas, focusing on the production of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC), besides basic chemichal inputs and a special line of products derived from sugarcane, a renewable raw material. It’s the case of green ethene and polyethylene.
In partnership with clients, Braskem is present in more than 70 countries, participating in the life of millions of people. Its marketed inputs are essential for the production of many sectors, like construction, health, packages and automotive.
With Braskem Labs, Braskem aims to expand its sustentability actions with a social impact and innovation, find new social-environmental solutions through plastic, discover new technologies and encourage entrepreneurship in Brazil.
Developed for water treatment in areas and cities that don’t have access to treatment stations, basic sanitation, rural zones and even underdeveloped countries.
It’s a plastic equipment that gradually releases chlorine tablets, in a way that it keeps the water treated and with little need for human intervention.
